Be Thankful They Didn't Bring a Watermelon!

I have never met anyone who didn't like fried chicken. In fact, I know a number of people who like it any way it comes. It can be fresh from the skillet, room temperature, or cold from the refrigerator. It can be plain fried, spicy, or covered in barbecue sauce. Fried chicken is good no matter how you make it; and fried chicken lovers can be found among every race, religion, sex and sexual deviancy. (I added that in order to be politically correct.)

Last week, a number of Caucasian people got together for a picnic. One of the persons attending naturally brought along his adopted black son, who happens to be about 17 years old. Of course, all people were welcome to the picnic, as nobody attending would ever have thought to exclude anybody based on race.

One of the older ladies attending the picnic brought a bucket of Colonel Sander's famous Kentucky Fried Chicken. Obviously, according to one person, she may have needed sensitivity training.

Why? Because, after the event was over, the black young man looked at his adopted parent and asked, "Did somebody bring that fried chicken to the picnic because they knew I was going to be there?"

I am glad nobody brought a watermelon!

You cannot make this stuff up!
